The labyrinth at the entrance of Ely
Cathedral was installed in the 19th Century. If you walk the length of the labyrinth
you will have walked the same distance as the height of the ceiling above. Walking
a labyrinth is a spritual exercise from ancient times - its turns and twists
mirror the journey of life, with God at its centre.
