ELY CATHEDRAL - George Basevi.

George Basevi was a well known architect (1794 - 1845) whose most important work is the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge, begun in 1837. He fell to his death while inspecting the West Tower of Ely Cathedral on 16th October 1845.
