Police target rogue skaters...

Skaters in Ely could face a maximum £500 fine if they break an exsisting local bylaw which bans roller skating or skate boarding in the City. Police have promised to get tough after recieving complaints from elderly residence. The positive outcome is however that the Ely City Council is now looking for a site to build a skating centre for youngsters. Local resisdence have been asked for help concerning this developement and anybody with suggestions on where the facility could be should contact Ely City Council (01353) 661016
