Oliver Cromwell's House

THE LORD PROTECTOR WELCOMES HISTORICAL FAYRE

Oliver Cromwell’s House will play host yet again to a wide variety of historically inspired traders and craftspeople as part of the Lord Protector’s Historical Fayre on Sunday January 28th.

The 17th century house will come to life once again to give visitors the opportunity to purchase unusual wares and gifts including food, pottery, clothing and jewellery.

Demonstrations and talks will be included in the £3 admission fee alongside tasters and samples.

Councillor David Ambrose-Smith, Chair of the Community Services Committee for East Cambridgeshire District Council said: “I am really excited to see how Oliver Cromwell’s House is going to be transformed for the day. It’s such a good chance for visitors to learn more about the period at the same time as being able to purchase unique goods”.

This Historical Fayre gives you the chance to learn more about traditional crafts and buy one of a kind items. From unusual food to period clothing this is an opportunity not to be missed.

The Fayre will run from 11am to 4pm. A full list of traders can be found here: www.olivercromwellshouse.co.uk.
