WHAT ARE THE IMPLICATIONS FOR CROMWELL..?
We @ Ely Online are proud to have taken part in the BBC TV Show of the Millennium and are glad that Oliver Cromwell and other local Hero Lord Nelson made it to the final 10. We are sure that the programme has inspired lots of people to give a little more credit to all our Great Britons. Our sincere thanks to the BBC for blessing us with such a fine Educational Series & Finalé.

A FUNNY THING...
After the Show we the Public were allowed to mingle with the Celebrities that represented the Great Britons. Mo Mowlam approached the Team from Ely Online shook hands with young Kiethy and politely asked..."Who were you supporting..?"

Cromwell answered Kieth happily at which point Mo retorted "WANKERS" and strolled off..!

We don't hold a grudge though Mo...)
We took this oppertunity to ask our rep. Professor Richard Holmes if it was true what they say about Cromwell being "hung like a donkey" as mentioned in a recent article about the Ely Metiorite...

He confirmed our story..!

A.A. Mr Smarmy failed Actor...

"Cromwell was the English Stalin, a gastly man from the Fens who was part PolPot, part Bernard Matthews..."

And there's a few more where he came from Mr A.A.Gill Bard-Steward, so we suggest you keep looking over your shoulder & be very afraid..!
OK CROMWELLIANS. LET IT LIE, FOR NOW...

WE LOOK FORWARD TO THE NEXT BATTLE..!
