Charity Event held at The Prince Albert pub in Silver Street / Ely on Thursday 31st October.
"A grand total of over £800 was raised in the last 6 months for the East Anglian Air Ambulance by patrons of the Prince Albert pub in Silver Street.

The money raised came from customer donations, a raffle, and the sale of second hand books and CDs.

The money was accepted on behalf of the East Anglian Air Ambulance on Thursday 31st October by Dianne and Ralph Tomlinson, who along with other entered into the "spirit" of things by dressing up in Halloween costumes.

So, if you have any old or spare books or CDs that you no longer want then please donate them to a good cause and take them along to the Prince Albert where they will be sold on and the money put to another good cause".

Thanks a lot - Alison Pyrah
